The Clinical Nutrition and Brain Research Group investigates the effects of nutrition, body composition and physical activity on growth, metabolism, brain function, and neurodevelopment in infants and children. Our multi-disciplinary group addresses complex questions regarding the interaction of these variables while considering multiple facets of child development. Major research projects currently investigate the consequences of prenatal environment and early infant feeding. Studies also examine how to optimize nutrition and physical activity to improve overall health.
