The Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center is a growing research center focusing on improving child health, exploring the links between food and nutrition and optimizing how the body utilizes nutrients throughout development. The faculty and scientific staff are dedicated to discovering the fundamental biology of the childhood brain and metabolic processes, and the mechanisms by which diet and physical activity (both maternal and child) impact these networks.

Located in Little Rock, the Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center benefits from a supportive community and a strong partnership with the Arkansas Children’s Research Institute and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
