The Glowing study ( identifier: NCT01131117) is an ongoing longitudinal observational study of normal weight, overweight and obese mothers and their offspring. In Glowing, women who already had one child are followed carefully throughout pregnancy and their children are followed during their first 2 years of life. We have successfully recruited all participants (300 women) from the Central Arkansas region. The study will be completed in August 2017.
