2017:
- ACNC’s “Laboratory for Active Kids and Families” is toured by Gov. Asa Hutchinson, Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin and University of Arkansas System President Donald Bobbitt
- NIH awards $11.5 million to Arkansas Children’s Research Institute to establish unique pediatric research center
- Dr. Brian Piccolo has been selected to be part of the prestigious Nutrition Leadership Institute Class of 2017. Congratulations!!
- Using an annual competitive selection model, the Dannon Institute identifies top candidates from academia, industry and medicine, based on the promise of these individuals as emerging leaders in nutrition science.
- Dr. Piccolo is the first scientist ever to be selected from Arkansas.
- After completion of his training, he will join a Nutrition Leadership Institute alumni group that represent investigators from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, UC Davis, Children’s Hospital of Oakland, Tufts University, Cornell, the University of Illinois and many other top U.S. research and medical centers.
